How It Works

Three steps between you and your entry.

1

Complete the application

Passport details and travel dates. A few minutes — saved as you go.

2

Secure payment

Government fee plus our processing fee, itemised before you pay.

3

Receive by email

The moment the authorities issue it, we email it straight to you — print it or carry it on your phone.

Before you apply

Applying for your Uzbekistan travel authorisation

Uzbekistan's travel authorisation is issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. govr.me is a private, independent service — we are not a government department. We check your documents, complete the official form and submit your application for you. You can also apply yourself, directly and for the government fee only, at the official portal authority website.

What it costs

Government fee$20Set by the authority — the same wherever you apply
Our service fee$100Document check, form completion, submission & support
You pay$120From — final price shown before payment

Prices in USD. Our fee pays for our help only; it does not buy a faster government decision. Applying directly at the official portal costs the government fee alone.

May not need one

~90 countries (UK, EU/EEA, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, GCC, Russia, all CIS) get 30 days without an entry.

Passport

  • Valid for at least 3 months from your application date.
  • At least 1 blank page.

Photo

  • Size: 35 × 45 mm
  • Background: white
  • Format: JPEG, up to 5 MB
  • ~600 × 800 px
  • Both ears visible
  • No glasses, no headgear (except religious)

Documents you'll need

  • Coloured passport bio-page scan (max 5 MB)
  • Recent passport-style photo (white background)
  • Tourist entry: no supporting documents required
  • Business / Pilgrim / Medical / Student: invitation or admission letter scans

How the application works

  1. Permit type selection
  2. Applicant information
  3. Passport & documents
  4. Review & pay

Payment: travel application; Mastercard; Maestro; UzCard / Humo (in-country). PDF emailed with QR code; re-downloadable via Application ID + passport number. 24–48 hours typical.

Do

  • Apply at least 3 days before travel (SLA is 2 working days).
  • Check whether your country can stay 30 days without an entry — Uzbekistan has been expanding that list aggressively.
  • Upload colour passport scan, well-lit, with all four corners visible.
  • Use the same email for application and payment receipt.
  • Print the entry PDF and carry on arrival; QR code is scanned at airports.
  • Apply separately for each traveller — there is no group form.

Don't

  • Don't apply via lookalike sites — multiple scam clones exist.
  • Don't travel without a printed PDF copy.
  • Don't overstay — fines start ~$200 plus deportation plus 5-year ban.
  • Don't ignore the OVIR / temporary registration rule for stays >3 nights — uniquely Uzbek.
  • Don't declare student/work purposes on a tourist entry — different sub-type.
  • Don't book non-refundable flights until the entry is granted.

Why applications are refused

Decisions rest entirely with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The most common reasons an application is turned down:

  • Passport validity less than 3 months beyond stay.
  • Photo with non-white background or wearing glasses.
  • Conflicting / inconsistent travel history in passport vs declaration.
  • Wrong nationality selection for dual nationals.
  • Application submitted with same passport details twice — duplicate detection.

Important for Uzbekistan

  • OVIR / temporary registration is required for stays >3 nights — most hotels do this automatically; private homestays must do it manually.
