How it works
Choose your country, enter your passport details and travel dates. A few minutes — saved as you go.
Government fee plus our processing fee, itemised in full before you pay. Nothing hidden.
The moment it's issued we email your entry straight to you — print it or carry it on your phone.
Before you apply
Applying for your Cambodia travel authorisation
Cambodia's travel authorisation is issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Royal Government of Cambodia). govr.me is a private, independent service — we are not a government department. We check your documents, complete the official form and submit your application for you. You can also apply yourself, directly and for the government fee only, at the official portal authority website.
What it costs
Prices in USD. Our fee pays for our help only; it does not buy a faster government decision. Applying directly at the official portal costs the government fee alone.

How the application works
- Read terms

- Upload passport + photo

- Receive entry PDF via email
Payment: travel application; Mastercard; JCB; UnionPay; Sometimes Amex. PDF emailed + portal lookup as fallback. 3 working days target.
Do
- Use only the canonical official portal the authority website — Cambodia is hit hard by lookalike sites.
- Apply at least 5 working days before departure.
- Match all data on the application to your passport MRZ exactly.
- Use a valid email — the entry is delivered there as PDF.
- Print the entry PDF — Cambodian officers historically prefer paper at land borders.
- Choose the correct port of entry from the portal.
Don't
- Don't use lookalike sites — many charge $80–120 for what should be $36.
- Don't apply with less than 6 months passport validity.
- Don't submit a poorly-cropped or blurry passport scan.
- Don't expect to extend the entry in-country via the portal.
- Don't try to enter at a non-listed border crossing — small land borders may refuse.
- Don't overstay — Cambodia fines $10/day cumulative.
Why applications are refused
Decisions rest entirely with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Royal Government of Cambodia). The most common reasons an application is turned down:
- Passport scan unreadable, glare on bio page, or corners cropped.
- Photo quality issues — dark background, off-centre face, glasses with glare.
- Passport with less than 6 months validity from intended entry date.
- Mismatch between application data and passport.
- Nationality on the excluded list — application is rejected at submission.
Important for Cambodia
- Excluded nationalities (must apply at embassy): Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sudan.
- ASEAN nationals need no entry, with stay length varying by country.
