How it works
Choose your country, enter your passport details and travel dates. A few minutes — saved as you go.
Government fee plus our processing fee, itemised in full before you pay. Nothing hidden.
The moment it's issued we email your entry straight to you — print it or carry it on your phone.
Before you apply
Applying for your Qatar travel authorisation
Qatar's travel authorisation is issued by Qatar Ministry of Interior — Hayya Platform. govr.me is a private, independent service — we are not a government department. We check your documents, complete the official form and submit your application for you. You can also apply yourself, directly and for the government fee only, at the official portal authority website.
What it costs
Prices in USD. Our fee pays for our help only; it does not buy a faster government decision. Applying directly at the official portal costs the government fee alone.

Do
- Apply through hayya.qa — the only legitimate portal post-2022.
- Purchase the mandatory health insurance during the application or upload proof of equivalent coverage.
- Pre-register even if you're eligible for a permit on arrival — speeds up arrival.
- Ensure your hotel booking is at a Qatar-registered property.
- Carry a printed copy of your Hayya permit at boarding.
- Comply with modest dress code in public, especially at souqs and government buildings.
Don't
- Don't use third-party agents claiming 'guaranteed Hayya approval'.
- Don't overstay; fines are 200 QAR/day plus re-entry restrictions.
- Don't attempt to work on a visit permit.
- Don't bring alcohol or pork products into the country.
- Don't photograph military, government buildings, or local women without consent.
- Don't travel without health insurance — 2024 law requires entry-time coverage.
Why applications are refused
Decisions rest entirely with Qatar Ministry of Interior — Hayya Platform. The most common reasons an application is turned down:
- Hotel booking is at a non-registered or unverifiable property.
- Missing health insurance proof (post-2024 requirement).
- Passport validity less than 6 months.
- Previous Qatar overstay or deportation in the system.
- Incomplete sponsor information for business / family visits.
Important for Qatar
- ~95 nationalities (UK, US, Canada, Australia, NZ, EU/Schengen, GCC and more) get a free waiver and need no entry — the online permit is for passports without a waiver.
- Mandatory health insurance (≥150,000 QAR) since 2024 — bundled into Hayya.
