Common questions
Can I apply urgently?
Yes. On the application form you can choose Urgent, Emergency or Super Rush instead of Standard; the extra fee is shown before you pay.
How long can I stay?
Up to 14 days in Sri Lanka, counted from the day you arrive. You have 3 months from the day it is issued to make that arrival.
Is multiple-entry available?
Single entry. If you plan to leave Sri Lanka and come back, choose the 30-day tourist permit instead: it allows two entries inside one 30-day window.
What documents do I need?
Passport (6+ months validity), recent photo, return travel reference, and accommodation proof. Some destinations want bank statements or invitation letters; we tell you in the application form which ones apply.
